                    Under the order of H. G. Dr. Kuriakose Mor Theophilose Metropolitan, the Syrian Orthodox Church established St. Ignatius Noorono Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church as its parish in Ireland. His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II (Patriarch of Antioch and Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church) and Thomas Mor Alexandrios (Patriarchal Vicar of Ireland) are the current patrons of the Church.  Fr. Dr. Jobymon Skaria was the first vicar of the parish. H. G. Dr. Mathews Mor Ivanious, Metropolitan of Kandanadu Diocese led the inaugural Holy Qurbono in 2007.
                    Rev. Fr. Dr. Jobimon Skaria began holding prayer sessions in the Tallaght region in 2006, at the request of the Jacobite loyal people. The Metropolitan, H. G. Dr. Kuriakose Mor Theophilose, formed the Ignatius Noorono Syrian orthodox congregation in April 2007 at the request of the Jacobite faithful. The parish, which began with Mass on the fourth Saturday of every month, was arranged as Holy Communion on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month in 2010 by the order of Metropolitan H. G. Kuriakose Mor Dioscoros, and then the congregation was established as St. Ignatius Noorono Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church after the order of Metropolitan Yohanan Mor Milithiyos. The congregation was blessed by the visit of H. G. Ignatius Aphrem II, the current patriarch of Antioch on July 19, 2015. Mor Anthimos Mathews Metropolitan has granted permission to conduct Holy Mass on every Saturday with effect from February 1, 2022.  Tallaght’s devout are still blessed by the Church, which helps them to keep their spiritual ideals.
